Meet Steve
Steve Close is a qualified Dredge Master with over 17 years experience operating vessels on the water.
Steve has a Master Class 5 and Marine Engine Driver II. It's in Steve’s blood to work on the water and he wouldn't do anything else! He has great pride in providing amazing service and making beautiful beaches for the properties he maintains.
Steve has been dredging Gold Coast Canals as part of The Gold Coast City Councils Maintenance Program and is now available for private hire anywhere on the Gold Coast.
Close Encounter Dredging currently conducts all maintenance dredging for Southport Yacht Club.
